Basically what this means is training without weights but you should be warned because it certainly does not mean losing muscle. In fact if this technique is applied correctly it could help you gain muscle quickly by simple isometrics.

Mike Marvel’s Dynaflex is something as old as 20 or 40 years as it first came out in in the 1970’s but it has proven itself over and over many times by many different athletes across the world. It does not matter what sport you are involved in it can have positive results.

It is simple stretching and flexing in a specific way that isolates the tension in the muscle. Sports Science will more than lightly say that the reason for increased muscle gain is because of the increased neuro-muscular pathways that are being developed with this technique.

The Dynaflex training promises to be able to teach you exactly how to "turn on" your strength and tap into your maximum strength. This may sound strange to a seasoned weight trainer who is used to pushing the limits but this is a technique with a difference.

Doing these exercises will teach you to bypass that barrier and unleash the superman that hides inside you at will! This was actually proven in a study that was done in the 1990’s where they showed that the subjects using these simple, short and very quick isometric techniques increased their strength by 51%.

These isometrics techniques are not some new discovery as they have been around for the last 40 years, but most of them have been forgotten. There are still some coaches that use these techniques very effectively still today to get terrific results.

The simple principal of being able to isolate a muscle group in a very specific way has been proven to work and Sports Science can explain exactly why. It all has to do with focus and intent and you can learn the secrets by practicing isometrics.
